With decades of frontline experience, our team of staff includes current or recently retired professionals from QHealth and the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) who provide experience and expertise to every event we support – regardless of size.
With a strong foundation in education and practical experience, we offer invaluable hands-on learning opportunities for students by allowing them to work alongside seasoned healthcare professionals. Our team is dedicated to mentoring students, supporting their educational requirements, and helping them achieve their on-the-job learning objectives.
Beyond delivering exceptional emergency medical care, our healthcare professionals also promote healthy lifestyles, physical fitness, and overall well-being. They uphold the highest standards of professionalism, including a strict uniform policy to ensure they remain highly visible at events.
At QEMS, we believe in collaboration, professionalism, and excellence in pre-hospital healthcare. Our team is dedicated to working seamlessly with event organisers and healthcare providers to ensure we provide the highest standard of care for all.
As active professionals within QHealth, our team members participate in mandatory, APHRA-endorsed continuous professional development programs.
QEMS has supported high-profile events, including the Commonwealth Games in Townsville and the Abbey Medieval Festival. We also oversee the Australian First Aid Volunteer Network.
